It is actually a Germanic tradition to celebrate the rebirth associated with the Vernal Equinox. This is linked with Jesus Christ’s resurrection. The word ‘Easter’ comes from the German myth of the springtime goddess Eostre. Here is a link that quickly overviews the Easter tradition Depending on your vaccine type, you get one shot or two, spaced 3 weeks apart. After the vaccination, you must wait 10 days for the vaccine to have full effect. So if you are an Orthodox Christian with Easter in May, no problem If you are a Western Christian – no, you are not covered. I was asked this question recently, and I’m pretty sure my answer was wrong. You see, in my family, Easter means “extended family holiday at the beach”, and specifically one following the traditional dictum my grandparents had of “a holiday is when you don’t cook”. So we take it in turns to arrange a big takeaway meal for 35–40 people, which means that we’re usually getting fish and chips, hamburgers, or pizza. There have sometimes been barbecues and the like, but that’s about it. Thinking about what’s advertised around Easter (aside, of course, from chocolate and hot cross buns), seafood and/or roast meats tend to be at least positioned as being traditional. I suspect that if I were to somehow spend Easter in a way other than the way I normally do, one or both of those would be on the menu. I’m in the US, and we eat lamb on Easter because Easter is the celebration of the sacrificial death and resurrection of Jesus who gave his life as a sacrifice for our sins. “For you know that God paid a ransom to save you from the empty life you inherited from your ancestors. And it was not paid with mere gold or silver, which lose their value. It was the precious blood of Christ, the sinless, spotless Lamb of God. God chose him as your ransom long before the world began, but now in these last days he has been revealed for your sake.”
Easter is such a great time. As a believer in Jesus, His resurrection from death means everything. If Jesus didn’t rise from the dead, nothing else about His life matters. So, we celebrate. We got to Church, have dinner, give out Easter baskets and give thanks that Jesus did concur death. And for those that believe in Him (His words), they can also live forever. Easter Eggs, the Easter Bunny, is actually a commercial addition to the Christian festival, nothing to do with the original event. So from a strictly pragmatic viewpoint, all you would be doing is eating chocolate- which contains no haram ingredients. Presumably, there is no ban in Islam against eating a treat during other people’s festivals, but if you want to be sure, just buy the chocolate eggs and eat them at another time. Personally, I think that awareness of other religious customs is a good thing, as it helps to build respect. Islam has its martyrs, and that is what Jesus was- a simple matter of understanding. There are many factors that make some jalapeños hotter than others, such as the age of the fruit; specific genetics that affects the thickness of the inner membrane (where most of the capsaicin is contained), the climate, the minerals in the soil, the amount of sun that particular pepper received, how much water the plant had, where it was grown, etc. Assuming we’re out of the “mini-lockdown” we’re in at the moment, there’ll be a one-in-three chance that my brother and I (and our respective wives) are the official “caterers” for the extended family that night. If we’re not, then we will have been so on Good Friday or Easter Saturday night. The typical options for a 35-person (ish) takeaway meal where we’ll be assuming all goes according to plan are fish and chips, pizza, or hamburgers. So we’d end up being responsible for one of those not already done if that’s how we’re doing things. Time will tell how that plays.
Painted eggs, chocolate bunnies, and colorful baskets. These are the images that come to mind when many people think about celebrating Easter. For many people, especially in America, Easter day is filled with egg hunts and enjoying candy prizes. Although these events are fun and not necessarily wrong, Easter is not about eggs, candy, or bunnies. True symbols of Easter are a cross and an empty tomb. There were no egg hunts, candy, or tales of the “Easter Bunny” on the first Easter. Instead, people were talking about the most important event in history: The resurrection of Jesus Christ. Today, Christians observe Easter or Resurrection Sunday in celebration of the risen Christ, who died for the sins of all and was resurrected on the third day following His death Easter Sunday, like other Sundays of church gatherings, should be a time of joyful commemoration of Christ’s resurrection, the foundation of the believer’s faith. Absolutely not except occasional exceptions. There is such a shortage of facilities and personnel that it’s not necessary. There is only so much load a system can handle. Why would anyone want to cheat when honest work itself is so much that you can’t handle it. There are some bad eggs no doubt which are there in all walks of life. Much less than in almost another walk of life in India including religion Consider this – in any other walk of life if there is shortage prices shoot up. In India consultation fees of doctors is the lowest in the world cheaper than in China. Check on the internet and don’t just listen to media or politicians.During the lockdown, black marketing of everything else happened except doctors’ consultation fees. Don’t confuse doctors’ fees with hospital bills. Only about 5% or so of bills is doctors consultation. Most private hospitals have huge investments and profits are in the range of 4–12% depending on occupancy. Is that exorbitant? Just because there are occasional bad eggs branding the entire sector as bad is wrong. This is the new black and white thinking common in this generation. Painting all with the same brush is never correct
They say that art imitates life. It is a medium of expression of one’s creativity. It conveys a whole lot of ideas and feelings. Art is a product of a human activity that stimulates the senses and evokes different types of emotions. It is the mind’s interpretation of what it perceives and expresses in symbols, words, drawings, music, dance, plays, etc. It comes from the mind of its creator. If art imitates life, and an expression of human activity, then art can help us understand an individual’s state of being through his works. Some artists paint on canvasses while others find satisfaction in something deeper: the art of inner healing. Artists who are knowledgeable about human development, psychological theories, clinical practice, including spiritual, multicultural, and artistic traditions have discovered the healing potentials of art. Art therapy is the therapeutic use of art by people who experience a variety of challenges in life, such as stress and anxiety, emotional problems, depression, illnesses, and other health conditions. It is also for people who seek personal development and fulfillment. Art creations and their processes increase self-awareness and the ability to cope with struggles in living which include coping with symptoms, stress, and traumatic experiences. Art therapy helps to enhance cognitive abilities and provides life-affirming pleasures. In art therapy, creation may start with an urge to make a doodle or sketch, or with a certain feeling, dreams, memories, or just a plain idea. The next step is to give it a physical form with the use of clay or paint or any tool one would like to use for his creation. This is a creative play that provides a means to express something that has no word or is not yet understood. There are a number of reasons why people come to art therapy. Most people who are grieving a loss of a loved one, undergoing depression, trauma, sexual abuse, and drug or substance addiction find relief and courage through creative expression. Others who are mending broken relationships, exploring their dreams, or seeking renewal and meaning in their lives have found the depth of art therapy to be very helpful and effective.
